I love photographing marriage proposals, especially at places that are special to the couple.
This surprise marriage proposal was taken at Camp Hero State Park in Montauk, NY.
The groom to be contacted me from Georgia to plan his destination wedding proposal.
Montauk was a special place to his bride to be ever since her childhood.
Part of my proposal photography services includes helping plan the proposal.
There are thousands of proposal photos on Instagram - some with elaborate candles and rose petal displays.
However, I prefer and recommend not to use any props. The props are a giveaway and will diminish the expression of surprise upon seeing.
And quite frankly, I think all that hoopla looks cheesy and fake.
