Hamptons Proposal Photographer | Christian & Caitlin Engaged!
Congratulations to Christian and Caitlin who recently got engaged in the Hamptons!
Christian proposed to Caitlin on a beautiful beach in Amagansett – just a short walk from the air B&B that they were renting for the weekend.
I loved photographing their engagement portraits at Atlantic Beach in Amagansett.
As always, if possible I recommend that beach proposals start 1 hour before sunset.
This time of day is referred to as “golden hour”.
Golden hour lighting is flattering, soft, warm and beautiful.
Unlike mid day sun which is unflattering, harsh – producing hard shadows and squinting.
Moreover, capturing your first sunset together as fiancés is an added bonus.
Sharing some of my favorites from their special day.
As a Hamptons proposal photographer being familiar with the area – I took Christian & Caitlin to this great spot in Amagansett for engagement photos after the kneel.
I knew it would be less windy then the shoreline that Christian proposed on. This allowed us to capture some beautiful photos with different backdrops other than sky, sand and ocean.
