When planning your wedding, choosing your photographer should be one of your most important decisions. Many couples search Google typing, "Best Long Island Wedding Photographer" into the field space.
Before you run with a "best of" list, thoroughly review the photographer's images.
Most of these "Best Of" lists are merely paid advertisements, not based on talent and customer service.
You must do your due diligence and review the photographers' website, blog post and galleries.
Ask yourself these questions:
Do you feel a connection to the photographer's work? Do their images show consistent results in a variety of scenarios? Do you see the same caliber of work from day to night?
Have you spoken to them? Met with them?
This is also important as your photographer will be with you all day and you will continue to interact post wedding while your photos are being edited and your album is designed.
My name is Lisa Nicolosi, and I am a Long Island wedding photographer and I hope your search has brought you to my website.
I have over 15 years of wedding photography experience and I am what is considered a "boutique photography studio". That means, I am the one photographing your wedding (not an associate or a new hire). I am the one answering all your calls, texts and emails pre and post wedding. I am the one organizing an efficient wedding day timeline for you. I am the one editing your photos into works of art and designing an album that brings you to tears. I am the one taking the utmost of pride in your photos, my business and my name - providing you with outstanding customer service. I truly care about documenting the best photos and giving you the best experience before and after your wedding day. Whether it is calming your nerves, making you laugh, posing you in a flattering manner and allowing you to enjoy and live in your day!
I am based in Babylon, Suffolk County; and travel the entire tri-state area of New York. I typically work on the beautiful East End of Long Island including: The Hamptons, The North Fork, Montauk and Shelter Island.
This photo was taken at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.
The New York Botanical Garden is gorgeous and as a nature lover it is one of my favorite venues to photograph a wedding.
This bridal portrait was taken on the steps of of the Enid Haupt Conservatory, an historic Victorian style greenhouse which is an architectural highlight among it's 55 acres of beautiful scenery.
Considered a living museum for plants, there are endless backdrops to create stunning wedding photos.
If you are looking for a New York City wedding that is not in Manhattan and incorporates the beauty of nature then I recommend New York Botanical Garden.
And if you haven't decided on a venue yet, I would love to chat with you about your wedding day and I would love to be your wedding photographer. Please get in touch via my contact page or give me a call at 631-747-5645!
