Shelter Island is one of my favorite location for a Long Island Engagement session.
A quick ferry ride from either Sag Harbor or Greenport will bring you to an oasis of beauty, tranquility and privacy. And privacy is something most prospective brides and grooms appreciate when having their engagement photos taken.
So whether you are visiting Long Island's wine country on the North Fork or the infamous beaches of the Hamptons on the South Fork you can plan to make it an East End weekend excursion.
I recommend scheduling engagement sessions approximately 2 hours before sunset, so this way we can benefit from "golden hour and also create a beautiful sunset picture.
