I am so excited to share this marriage proposal at the Planting Fields Arboretum .
If you are looking to plan your surprise marriage proposal surrounded by the beauty of nature – I highly recommend the Planting Fields.
Nestled in the town of Oyster Bay – this historic NY State Park checks all the boxes: picturesque scenery, gardens, architecture, and 5 minutes away from charming village of Oyster Bay to plan a brunch, lunch or dinner.
The Planting Fields Arboretum is open year round from 9am-5pm.
There is a $100. site fee for engagement/proposal sessions and it is well worth the price.
Every season has its own unique attributes for endless backdrops of beauty.
Here is a Spring engagement that I photographed in mid April for Yash & Priyal.
I love the way the tree frames the couple against the splash of Forsythia as Yash kneels to propose.
After Priyal said, “Yes!” we photographed engagement portraits against the glorious Spring blooms.
Sharing some of my favorites from their special day.
With over 400 acres of nature, architecture and greenhouses this post is just a small glimpse of this enchanting park.
It is always a treat to work here whether I am photographing a wedding, engagement sessions or a surprise marriage proposal.
