Long Island – New York – Wedding Photographer – Best of 2015<\/h2>\n

Sharing some of my favorite images \u00a0as well as some of my thoughts from my 2015 wedding season that were photographed from Long Island to New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Every wedding is unique but one commonality that they all share is that I personally strive to provide my brides and grooms with a balance of gorgeous natural portraits and authentic honest moments.<\/p>\n

Both are equally important in preserving this once in a lifetime day.<\/p>\n

You will never pass this way again nor be this age again.<\/p>\n

Your photos will allow you to relive the day that you’ve waited for, worked for and \u00a0invested in for the rest of your lives.<\/p>\n

Furthermore it is my desire to document these moments in a creative and artistic manner.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the most beautiful bridal portraits are impromptu – occurring during a moment – like here – this bride was about to step out of the limo – arriving to the church ceremony. . .<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Such a precious ring bearer. With palm and nose clinging to the glass door…Spider-Man prepares his mindset for the task of ring bearer\/ring security. \u00a0Images like this affirm my love when children are included and celebrated at weddings.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Whenever I drove past St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Southold…I use to dream and wish that I could photograph a wedding there – against a gorgeous blue sky. I finally got my wish and as an added bonus a heavenly breeze lifted Haley’s gorgeous veil. \u00a0=)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I hadn’t planned on taking this image two weeks before the 14th anniversary of September 11th. This image unfolded organically when I caught her reflection in the NYC picture framed on the wall. The fact that she was about to get married in front of the NYC skyline and had had the NYC skyline as a theme in her wedding made this unexpected capture all the more special. And it is my hope that no one ever forgets 9\/11 as we all continue to live, love and look toward the future.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The above two images I photographed while second shooting for Femina Photo and design. It was an honor to preserve such a touching moment between this bride and groom during their ceremony at St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Montauk NY<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I am always looking for dramatic light and was beyond thrilled to see this couple’s shadows on the railcar of this train at the Greenport LIRR museum during their engagement session. Plus I love the shapes, textures and contrast.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

When Stephanie called me to photograph her engagement session – she said she was drawn to the color in my work and that she had a vision of her session taking place at the Greenport Carousel. While driving there I was “sketching” visions in my brain of various ideas and this was one of them.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I don’t always get to photograph bride and groom portraits with low lying sun late in the afternoon – but I am so happy when I do – love the warmth and the dramatic rim lighting.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This adorable tot was waving to the other wedding guests, while her Aunt and future Uncle were getting married at St. Patrick’s Church in Southold.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This is one of my favorites because it not only depicts this vivacious bride’s exuberant personality but it showcases her in the beauty of the North Fork landscape. This is special because she originally was going to get married in her home state of Ohio – but scrapped the plans to be married on the North Fork – where she spent many summers at her grandfather’s house.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It brings me great joy when grandparents are present on the wedding day and to see how much they are beloved by their family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This bridal prep getting ready area was very cluttered – so I shot through the dining room chair to isolate my bride getting her makeup done – The framed portrait in the background is of her beloved Dad that had passed away shortly before her wedding . I did not know this when I took it – but had a hunch when I first reviewed the frames…when the bride confirmed that it was her Dad…it made this capture ever so much more poignant and precious.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
